
Beverly Lumbres Caimen (born June 20, 1994 (11)) also known by her mononym as Beverly is a Filipino pop singer based in Japan under the Avex Trax label. Her most well-known works include soundtrack appearances, such as "Be the One" in Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" in Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen was born in Calamba, Laguna on June 20th in 1994. She is the third child of Ramon Vega Caimen (and Leticia Valdezlumbres). She also had a brother and two sisters. Beverly started singing when she was just five years old. Her mother took her to school, and discovered that Beverly was a singer with a talent. She joined her school's chorus at the age of seven and began taking voice lessons at age 9 when her mother found time. Around this time, she entered her first singing competition, but she did not win. However, her mother convinced her to keep singing as she needed more experience. Batangas State University gave her an B.S. in Psychology. Beverly started singing in amateur competitions in order to follow her goals. She was awarded the first prize at the World Championships of Performing Arts. She recorded songs for GMA Records with composer Vehnee. Beverly Caimen was her debut and final album under GMA. Beverly was awarded an award for Best Performance from Awit Awards and won the Harvest of Honors award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts as well as the award for Best Performance from the A Song of Praise Music Festival Year 3.
